從觀眾活動與空間對應關係探討國立科學工藝博物館公共空間之型塑

從博物館發展的歷史觀察，觀衆在博物館中扮演的角色不斷改變；觀衆與博物館功能的變遷儼然形成一種互動關係。從發展趨勢而言，觀衆在博物館中的活動將更為多樣化，形成更複雜的公共領域特質，僵化的博物館空間規劃勢必無法滿足這樣大而快速的變動需求。博物館公共領域形成的理論探討與公共空間的再定義將是博物館運作發展責無旁貸的課題，其成效是博物館與觀衆關係建立的重要關鍵。將公共領域與公共空間的理論與實踐結合，可將當前博物館公共空間高度均質化的缺失，轉化為異質化的博物館體驗場所。國立科學工藝博物館擁有一個極大量體的建築空間，具備空間再生轉化的基本潛力及條件，本文特別提出最具代表性的大廳及長廊兩個公共空間，從當前的觀衆活動與空間對應關係間，企圖以強調多元、異質、和互動性活動的空間價值，開發具生命力與創造力的公共空間。

From the observation of the history of museum observation, the role of visitors to the museums has been changing. The change of museum function made the relations of visitors and museums become more interactive. In terms of development trend, visitors are engaged in more diversified activities. Consequently, this forms more complicated features of public sphere and rigid space arrangement of museums is not capable of responding to the need. It is an essential issue to set up the theory based on the formulation of museums in and redefine the meaning of public space and the effect will be the key to build up relations between museums and visitors. To put theories and implication of public sphere and public space together, we are able to solve the common problems of height of museums and present unique museum visiting experience. National Science & Technology Museum has spacious buildings; thus, it has the potential and qualification to convert to a differentiated space arrangement. In this paper, we proposed two forms of public space, the hall and corridor, in the museum attempting to put an emphasis on diversified; differentiated, and interactive space value, and develop public space with vigor and creativity from the interrelations of visitors' activities and space.
