“全球在地化”下美濃地方特色之重塑

摘要

本文以「全球化」與「在地化」的對應爲主軸，以台灣傳統農業鄉鎮－美濃地方爲研究區，藉由田野調查瞭解美濃地方環境，佐以深入訪談地方相關人士，剖析美濃「全球化」衝擊下，地方發展如何變化及如何重塑其區域特色。
本研究結果顯示在全球化的浪潮下，美濃深受其影響，對於傳統產業結構產生了極大的衝擊，但並未發生同質化的情況，依然保有美濃地方的獨特性與在地性，美濃地方回應了全球化下資本主義的作用，愈加強調客家在地特色的保存與發揚，凸顯了客家文化的內涵，重塑了在地化的地方特性。

As globalization becomes more intense, so localization tends to grow as a responding force to offset the effects. This paper presents a discussion of the general geographical characteristics of the place of Meinung: analyses in somewhat detail the transformation and adjustment of its economic performance and its chance to shape the context of their own lives: and attempts an assessment of mechanisms in the reconstruction of the place characteristics of Meinung in responding to glocalization.
