本研究以一名就讀體育系的大一聽障學生為個案研究對象,剖析聽障學生在進入體育系就讀後所面臨的學習適應情形,同時也探討進入大學後實際面對的問題與衝突。在研究取向上,採取質化研究,並以課堂參與觀察與深入訪法做為蒐集資料的主要方法。研究結果發現聽障生在學習適應上仍存在的問題:一、對於學科缺乏學習主動性;二、無法參與分組活動或被排斥;三、學科的課堂學習效果不佳;四、缺乏人際關係溝通技巧;五、不主動參與學校或社團活動;六、對於非專業術科的恐懼。研究結論指出體育系聽障生呈現學習適應不佳的狀況,建議從下列幾點來改善:一、全體師生都需要學習接納與適應;二、學校應正視「融合教育」的精神,落實各項配套工作;三、聽障生學習從挫折中成長,破除身心障礙的標記。
This case study aimed to explore the learning adjustment of a university freshman with hearing impaired in physical education department. A systematic understanding of learning adjustment in physical education department was explored. Meanwhile, the problems and conflicts that he was encountered were also discussed. Qualitative approach was used to explore the research issues. Data were collected through participation observation and in-depth interviews. The results described six exist learning adjustment problems of this hearing disabled student: 1) lacked of initiative in learning, 2) unable to participate in group discussion, 3) with bad learning effectives in class, 4) with poor interpersonal communicative skill, 5) not participated in school activity, 6) felt apprehension about unfamiliar professional sport skill training programs. The research conclusion indicates an unfavorable learning adjustment of this student, some suggestions are proposed: 1) all the teachers and students should learn how to adopt and adapt, 2) the school should concern based the spirit of inclusive education, 3) the students should learn from the frustrations and learn to anti-labeling.
