Purpose: This study of physical activity, metabolic syndrome (MS) and health-related quality of life among in elderly. Methods: Data came from the Survey of 315 elderly of Kimmen area county people with average age over 65 years completed the exercise questionnaire. This study for 296 valid questionnaires divided in Physical activity into three groups for light physical activity groups, moderate physical activity groups and vigorous physical activity groups. Collected Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, Chi-square test, Pearson product-moment, second series of related points, distribution, skewness statistic, and Scheffe's. Results: The effects of metabolic syndrome for physical activity, the variables in blood sugar and Triglyceride (TG) of moderate physical activity wear significantly (p<.01) in males and females. The control of effect the quality of life factors, both males and females in the moderate physical activity and vigorous physical activity on physical function (PF), role limitations due to physical problems (RP), bodily pain (BP), general health (GH), vitality (VT), and mental health (MT), social function (SF), and role limitations due to emotional problems (RE) and MS were significantly than light physical activity (p<.01). Between the variables in males and females of moderate physical activity and vigorous physical activity for physical activity in PF, GH and MT cognitive (r=-.41-.52, p<.01) and those suffering from metabolic syndrome RP, BP and RE cognitive (r=-.36-.40, p<.01) were significantly related. Conclusion: To the showed that physical activity level metabolic syndrome, and physical activity quality of life between variables of significant connected. It was found that the moderate physical activity and vigorous physical activity distribution in this study had a normal curve and physical activity seemed to be able to be metabolic syndrome in elderly.
