摘要

本文主要在討論閩南語文白異讀在現代閩南語中競爭的現象，文白異讀競爭的結果並不是單向的，也就是有可能是文讀取代了白讀，也有可能是白讀取代了文讀。而左右文白異讀相互取代的決定性因素是：詞彙出現於語言的頻率。出現頻率越高的一方，越不容易被滲透取代；反之，出現頻率低的一方，則比較容易被滲透取代。

This paper mainly discusses the competing change of the literary and the colloquial in Taiwan Southern Min. The result of the competing is not unidirectional. Most of all, the literary stratum is easily replaced by the colloquial stratum. However, there are still some examples that the literary stratum invades the colloquial stratum and then replace it. The frequency of occurring is one decisive factor of the replacement. If the occurring frequency of one stratum is lower than that of the other, it will be easier to be invaded and replaced by the other.
