測定化妝品常用二十種精油敖合金屬離子之抗氧化能力及羅勒精油主要化學成分分析之研究

Investigation of Commercial used 20 Kinds of Essential Oils in Metal Chelating Activity and the Major Chemical Compositions of Basil Essential Oil

摘要


本研究目的在鑑定化妝品常用之二十種精油對於螯合金屬離子之抗氧化能力評估,並分析其中主要螯合金屬離子之主要成分之化學成分鑑定。結果顯示試驗樣品中以羅勒精油之螯合能力最為顯著,當樣品濃度1mg/mL時,能螯合57.48%之金屬離子,半數有效抑制濃度(EC_(50))為984μg/mL,以氣相層析質譜儀鑑定其主要之化學成分,發現羅勒精油中主要含有甲基醚蔞葉酚、沈香醇與薄荷醇三種成分,其中以甲基醚蔞葉酚之含量最高,佔86.48%。將羅勒精油內之主要成分甲基醚蔞葉酚、沈香醇與薄荷醇進行螯合率之分析,發現甲基醚蔞葉酚之金屬螯合能力最佳,證明甲基醚蔞葉酚為羅勒精油中螯合金屬離子之主要成份。

20 kinds of commerical used essential oils were employed to investigate the metal chelating activity. The metal chelating activity of Basil is the best in these essential oils. 1mg/mL of Basil essential oil was shown 57.48% of the metal chelating activity and its EC_(50) is 984μg/mL. 86.48% of methyl chavicol in Basil essential oil was analyzed by GC-MS. Three major compositions of Basil essential oil are methyl chavicol, linalool and menthol and those were used to test metal chelating ability. Methyl chavicol was shown the best metal chelating ability of the three chemical compositions and it is the major metal chelating activity compound of Basil essential oil.
