隨著液晶顯示器 (liquid crystal display,LCD) 的技術快速發展,品質不斷精進,價格持續下滑,使得液晶顯示器的應用逐漸普遍。LCD須有背光源才能達到顯像功能,而背光源即是重要的背光模組,背光模組的重要部材為導光板。 本研究以六標準差管理手法的流程步驟-DMAIC,進行導光板印刷製程的改善。首先找出關鍵品質特性,衡量量測系統及製程能力,歸納出影響製程的關鍵因子,再利用實驗設計的反應曲面法進行實驗,找出最佳的製程參數組合,進行最佳參數製程能力的驗證,並將最佳參數標準化列為管制項目。以六標準差專案管理的方式進行改善,使導光板印刷製程有明顯改善。且最佳條件組合不但使品質和製程能力提升,且製程更為穩定。
Given the fast development in LCD (liquid crystal display) technology, the quality of LCD has improved progressively while its price continues to fall, resulting in its wide-scale application in our life. The revelation of LCD relies on the source of back light, which comes in the form of a backlight unit with light guide plate (LGP) being its main component. This paper applies the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to improve the LGP printing process. It begins by identifying the critical quality characteristics and process variables. Designed experiments utilizing the response surface methodology are carried out to identify the optimal operating conditions of significant factors for further verification of the best process capability. The results indicate that DMAIC methology has greatly improved the LGP printing process.
