Management of new service development (NSD) has been regarded as an important source of competitiveness in service industry. Although many literatures were surveyed about NSD, a systematic methodology is introduced to improve for NSD practice in this research. The main purpose of this study is to explore that the project management methodology as a practical solution for the field of NSD. This study applies inductive analysis by gathering data from literature review. The conclusion suggests that project management methodology is applicable for NSD implementation. Furthermore, the effectiveness and efficiency of NSD would be enhanced through application of this methodology.
