IC(Integrated circuit,IC)設計公司指自身無晶圓廠之公司,透過訂單的方式,委託晶圓代工廠進行製造。因IC整體生產週期長,為了避免缺貨而失去商機,通常依照客戶的預估需求來準備較多的存貨,因此當客戶實際需求下降時,則需要花費較長時間將存貨消化完畢。但個案公司面臨部分產品,即便花費較長時間消化存貨,庫存水位依舊居高不下之問題,導致呆滯庫存影響公司之獲利。 因此本研究提出晶圓採購訂單延遲策略,透過延遲的方式在給予訂單的決策上,更能貼近市場的需求,並搭配晶圓代工廠的交期調整,改善給予晶圓代工廠訂單後,庫存水位居高不下之問題。利用個案公司歷史資料驗證,以及初步模擬分析,在滾動式需求預測表中,相較於正常訂單策略,庫存水位可以維持較低水準;而透過洞察發現庫存需求比之區間,提供產品缺貨之程度,讓採購人員在給予訂單之判斷,有更好及更明確之策略來判斷。
IC (Integrated circuit,IC) design house mean fabless company, and commissioned foundry to manufacture wafer by order. Because IC goods have long production cycle, in order to avoid shortages by lost opportunities, usually prepare more inventories to meet customer forecast demand. So it will take a lone time to deplete inventory when customer actual demand drops. But case company have a problem that some product still high levels inventory , even it takes a long time to deplete inventory. It will make slow moving stock and affect the company's profits. This research proposed an idea that strategies of postpone for wafer purchasing order, and it will be more closer to the market whether give order decision by postpone strategies, and need to foundries delivery adjustment, then will be reduce company high stock level problem after give foundries orders. Base on case company history data validation, and preliminary simulation analysis, through rolling demand forecast table, compared to the normal order strategy, inventory levels can be maintained low; and find stock & demand index interval, provide degree of out of stock for wafer purchaser, and it make more clear to decide order strategy.
