太陽能應用於環境污染整治工具之研析

摘要


在目前能源需求量日益增加,世界能源礦產存量快速減少的環境下,再生能源的發展受到高度重視。且因環保意識的興起,世界各國政府都提出許多的政策來投入再生能源的研究發展,以找出替代目前透過石化燃料發電的能源使用方式,而太陽能是最被看好的替代能源之一。 本研究透過文獻蒐集,彙整各國發展太陽能的策略,比較現階段太陽能應用類型,透過SWOT分析評估太陽能未來發展潛力與開發應用。並以實驗案例研析太陽能應用於環境污染整治之潛力,實驗裝置以太陽能為動力來源,利用電解反應降解含苯之油污地下水。在太陽能發電量測試中發現發電量受天候及日照強度影響,日發電量的變化趨勢與日照強度變化呈一致性,以上午10時至下午2時之間為發電高峰。電解實驗以定電壓操作,觸發電化學反應產生氫氧自由基,可快速氧化降解反應器中污染物,達到污染整治之成效。有鑑於綠色整治概念逐漸受到重視,本研究測試結果發現以太陽能為動力之電解系統,可降低污染整治的長期操作費用,並兼具節能減碳的成效,未來可開發太陽能應用於環境污染整治的工具。

The development of renewable energy has drawn much attention due to the growing energy demand and the rapid depletion of energy resource deposits currently. The notice of environmental awareness has driven many nations to propose renewable energy development policy and to explore alternatives of using fossil fuels for power generation. Among renewable energy sources, solar energy is the most promising alternative. This study conducted literature review, summarize several national solar energy development policies, compare the types of solar energy application, and employ SWOT analysis to evaluate solar energy potential for future development and application. Besides, the potential of applying solar energy on the remediation of environmental contamination was examined through experiments. Experimental apparatus utilized solar energy as power source, and the degradation of benzene contaminated groundwater was accomplished through electrolysis. Solar power generation tests showed that power generation rate is floating with sunlight strength and reaching the peak values between AM 10:00 and PM 2:00. Electrolysis experiments were operated under the constant-potential control, and the mechanisms of pollutant cleanup are major ascribed to electrochemical generation of OH radicals that are able to rapidly break down contaminants in the reactor. The experimental results illustrated that the solar-driven electrolysis system can save the long-term operation cost before completing cleanups. The concept of green remediation has drawn much attention recently, and it is worthy of developing a solar-driven system associated with the tools of environmental cleanup.
