佛學與量子力學對照觀點之海報創作研究

摘要


近代科學發展進程的根本意涵幾乎是與哲學合流的,透過量子力學的發展,人們對物質結構以及其交互作用的見解被革命化地改變。它指出不再有客觀的事物存在,觀測者的意念會影響實驗結果,兩者融為一體、相互共振。物質的存在狀態和觀察發生了密切關聯,人類的心智決定了物質的存在形式,心與物是聯結在一起密不可分的。量子力學宇宙觀所產生之衝擊與本質性的改變,也開始對哲學性的討論產生重大影響,所及遍佈各個領域。量子宇宙觀其本質與視覺設計上所追求的美學哲理與造形觀念,實有些共通性存在,而有加以探討之意義與價值。設計是人對於其生活的環境、文化、思想的體現;對世界本質理解的改變,必然會牽動表現手法及形式。當設計遇到宇宙觀、實相此類範疇之主題時,宗教性的視覺符號是經常使用的元素之一。希望當設計碰上科學思維產生的火花,能在創作研究中產生新的創意點,進而有新的視覺符號與表現形式產生。 本創作研究以「量子宇宙觀」主題精神進行海報創作表現,藉由視覺符號的創新以及象徵意涵、結構表現、造形形式、色彩運用4方面研究分析所得之結果為設計準則,進行視覺設計創作並舉辦主題個展,作為本創作研究之成果發表;藉由與觀者互動來進行本創作研究的評估。本創作研究共計進行2次個展:「無無明海報創作個展」、「佛與量子的對話海報創作個展」、達到4項研究目的:1.定義量子宇宙觀。2.量子宇宙觀與設計訓練間相互激盪產生新觀點。3.尋找新視覺符號及表現形式。4.在海報創作上具體呈現視覺創新。並有3項研究發現:1.禪對於設計的4項影響:a.起於生之自覺的主題意念創作,傳達創作者所觀照的體悟。b.除了要求圖面表現的美感之外,更講究提昇心靈美之層次。c.既寫實又抽象,筆隨意走、意在筆先的創作方式。d.不限於書法、水墨的刻板印象,即使是幾何或具象物體,仍能表現禪意之美。2.愈是單純的造形愈具有永恆的品質。3.量子宇宙觀與美學哲理在精神層次上具有「共振」的共通性。而設計創作的突破則分為觀點與視覺表現兩方面:1.量子宇宙觀其認知層面本質性的進化。2.視覺符號系統與設計手法的創新。最後將本創作研究之經驗成果與發現撰寫成本論述,供後進創作研究者參考。

The fundamental meaning of the modern scientific development process nearly collaborates with philosophy, through the development of quantum mechanics, and people’s opinions towards material structures and their reciprocation have been changed revolutionarily. It points out that objective matters would not exist anymore, observer’s thought would influence the experimental result, the two parties combine together and resonate each other. The existence state of material has close relationship with observation; human’s intelligence determines the existence form of material, mind and matter bind together integrally. The impact of quantum mechanics’ viewpoints and the change of essence also begin to produce significant influence towards each field of philosophic discussion. The essence of quantum viewpoints has something in common with the aesthetic philosophic theory that visual design pursues, thus it is meaningful and worth to discuss this further. Design is the embodiment of people’s environment, culture, and thought of their life; the change of understanding towards the essence of the world will inevitably influence the technique and form of expression. When design encounters the themes of viewpoints and reality, religion’s visual symbol is one of the elements that are often used. For the spark that is produced when design encounters scientific thinking, hoping that it can produce new creative idea during the creative research, and then new visual symbol and performance form can be produced. This creative research regards the spirit of “quantum viewpoints” to carry out the expression of poster creation. The innovation of visual symbols and the results that are obtained from four study analyses, which are symbolized meaning, structure expression, shape form, and use of color, are used and served as the design criteria, and then the creation of visual design is carried out and theme individual exhibition is held so as to serve as the achievement publication of this creative research. The interaction with observers is used to carry out the assessment of this creative research. This creative research has carried out two individual exhibitions in total, which are “Poster creative individual exhibition without ignorance” and “Poster creative individual exhibition of the conversation between Buddha and Quantum”. Moreover, four study results have been reached: 1. Defining quantum viewpoints. 2. New viewpoints that are produced by the mutual agitation between quantum viewpoints and design training. 3. Looking for new visual symbols and forms of expression. 4. Presenting visual innovation on poster creation concretely. And also, three study findings have obtained: 1.The four influences of Zen towards design, which are a. Originates the theme idea of inborn consciousness and passes the realization that is observed by the creator. b. Besides the aesthetic feeling of picture expression, promoting the level of soul beauty is even more important. c. Creative forms such as real but abstract, the pen leaves in, and thinks first. d. Not limited to the inflexible impression of calligraphies and Chinese ink, even geometry or concrete objects can still show the beauty of Zen. 2. The simpler shape has the more eternal quality. 3. Quantum viewpoints and aesthetic-philosophic theory have “resonating” compatibility on the spiritual level. The breakthrough of creative design is divided into viewpoints and visual expression: 1. Evolution of quantum viewpoint’s cognitive essence. 2. Innovation of visual symbol system and design technique. Last but not least, the experience achievement and findings of this creative research are used to write this discussion so as to serve as reference for the creative researchers in the future.
