摘要 教育部已於2008年將海洋教育增列為國民中小學九年一貫課程新興議題,並於2011學年度正式實施。然而國民小學教師是否具備海洋教育專業能力?實施狀況如何?是本研究想要探討的問題。本研究目的在瞭解國小教師海洋教育的專業能力、實施海洋教育的現況,以及教師海洋教育專業能力與實施現況之間的關係,以自編「臺中市國小教師海洋教育專業能力與實施現況之調查研究」問卷,針對臺中市國小567位教師為研究對象進行調查。所得資料採描述性統計分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關分析及Scheffé法等統計方法進行分析。 本研究結論如下: 一、 台中市國小教師海洋教育專業能力與實施現況整體表現皆不高。 二、 專業能力上,台中市國小男教師顯著高於女教師;研習時數多者較佳。 三、 實施現況上,年紀輕、年資淺、研習時數多、學校區域在原臺中市的國小教師表現較佳。 四、 台中市國小教師海洋教育之專業能力與實施現況之間呈現正相關。 最後,依據研究結果,針對教育主管機關、學校、國小教師及未來研究者,提出若干建議,期望對海洋教育有所助益。 關鍵字:海洋教育、專業能力
Abstract Ministry of Education (MOE) had added marine education as the newly emerging issue into the Grade 1-9 Curriculum in 2008 and had implemented in 2011. However, this study was focused whether the elementary school teachers have the professional competency in teaching marine education and also on the implemented situations. The purpose of this study is to realize the professional competency on marine education of the elementary school teachers, and the situation on implementing marine education. Through these data, we can be able to figure out the relationship between the professional competency in teaching marine education of the elementary school teachers and the implemented situation on marine education. The present study investigated the professional competency and implementation of marine education in elementary school teachers in Taichung City. The survey instrument was a self-developed “Questionnaire Investigated the Professional Competency and Implementation of Marine Education in Elementary School Teachers of Taichung City” .The participants were 567 elementary teachers in Taichung City and were asked to fill in the survey questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and Scheffe’s method of data processing were used on the obtained data. The findings of the study were listed as follows: 1. The overall performance in professional competency and implementation of marine education were not as expected from the Taichung City elementary school teachers. 2. In the professional competency of the marine education from the Taichung City elementary school teachers, the male teachers are better than the female teachers. The more hours that the teachers attended to marine education performed better than those teachers attended less hours. 3. In the implementation of the marine education, the elementary school teachers in Taichung city in these four sides had the better performances: (1) the younger teachers, (2) the inexperienced teachers, (3) the teachers who attended more hours in conferences, and (4) the teachers who teaching in the school of the original Taichung city. 4. There is a positive correlation between the professional competency and implementation of marine education from the Taichung City elementary school teachers. Finally, based on the above results, the suggestions were proposed for the authority concerned, schools , elementary school teachers and future researchers. Hopefully, the results could be possible to make some contributions in marine education. Keywords: marine education, professional competency
