摘要


本文之研究是因應全球高齡化人口的趨勢,應用遠端臨場(Telepresence)與無線網路(Wireless)的技術,來達成老人的照護與關懷。遠端臨場是結合遠端遙控(Remote Control)與虛擬實境(virtual reality)兩項技術而無線網路則提供隨意移動與不受空間限制的便利性,將遠端真實的環境經由無線網路傳回給近端的使用者,讓近端使用者有身處遠端環境的臨場感。 本文之目的為結合嵌入式系統和無線網路來設計一種工具,讓使用者可以透過瀏覽器來任意移動在遠方伺服端的代理人,以VIA EPIA N作為控制核心,其主要工作是負責處理經由無線網路傳輸模組傳送過來的控制指令和輸出訊號經由USB介面傳送給二顆直流馬達,而達到我們要求代理人前進、後退和左右轉彎。代理人的移動場景監控是藉由一台具人體移動自動追蹤功能的攝影機,並可由網路遠端搖控攝影機鏡頭上下左右旋轉來做影像擷取,將現場所擷取到的影像由伺服端的嵌入式系統,藉由無線網路傳送到遠方的使用者介面上。使用者也可以直接連結到Web網頁,透過網頁上所架設的使用者介面,來監控伺服端的代理人,讓使用者有身歷其境的感受,體會被照護者當下的喜、怒、哀、樂,從而實現遠端照護的目的。

The purpose of the research is using telepresence which is to combine with remote control and virtual reality, and wireless network technology to take care the old-man for the trend of advanced age in the word. The wireless networks have more convenient. It can send the true remote environment to the user in accordance with wireless network and let the user have the felling about telepresence. The objective is to design a tool which is to link up with embedded system and wireless network for user. The user can control the agent arbitrarily by the browser. The kernel of the plane is VIA EPIA N. The VIA EPIA N can handle I/O messages through wireless network and control the D. C. (direct current) motor by USB. And making the agent to go forward, draw back, and turn right and left. Then we setup a video camera which can track automatically and can be remote control to monitor the agent. The videos will be send to the user by the server which is a simple embedded system. The users also can see the videos on-line and control the agent by our wireless designs. Then the users will have the true feeling, like happy angry sad laugh about carrying.
