The purpose of this study is to examine executive entrepreneurship and its relationship with organizational effectiveness so that these data may be a useful reference for future planning and management in the life insurance industry. From a literature review, this research produced the five dimensions of entrepreneurship: "autonomy", "innovativeness", "risk-taking", "proactiveness" and "competitive aggressiveness" and included them with the four dimensions of organizational effectiveness and scale design: "rational goal", "internal process", "human relations" and "open system" in a research questionnaire which was sent to life insurance industry executives. In this study, 518 questionnaires were issued, and 285 were returned valid, an effective recovery rate of 55%. The recovered data then were examined in terms of reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation analysis and critical analysis of the performance. As a result, we conclude that: (1) executives from different backgrounds showed significant differences between “entrepreneurship " and "organizational effectiveness"; (2) executives with "entrepreneurship" had a positive awareness of "organizational effectiveness"; (3) "entrepreneurship" had a positive correlation with the implementation of "organizational effectiveness" of the company; (4) autonomy, proactiveness, and competitive aggressiveness are viewed by executives and firms as the most important entrepreneurial dimensions; (5) open system, human relations and rational goal are viewed by executives and firms as the most important organizational effectiveness dimensions.
