本研究主要的目的是瞭解青少年從事電動玩具的情形及其對青少年偏差行為的影響,希望能作為當前電動玩具等遊藝場業輔導管理政策之參考。研究資料乃依分層隨機抽樣的方法,在臺灣地區隨機抽取四個縣市二十六所國中、高中及高職學校學生進行問卷調查搜集而得。分析的加權樣本數為二千九百二十四個學生。研究的結果有下列幾個較主要的發現:(一)只有少數的青少年認為目前電動玩具具知識性,這可能反應出目前電玩拉不具教育性,偏重身體的反應、反射動作的操練等的設計特質。另外,青少年和父母一起從事電動玩具的比例是非常非常地少,換句話說青少年打電動玩具時是在一個很少有家長保護的環境;(二)青少年的社會控制能力愈小,經濟能力愈大,假日休閒時間愈多,常在一起的要好朋友數愈多,居家附近有電動玩具店,則愈常從事電動玩具活動。接句語說,在父母督導力量較小,又有閒有錢,朋友多,環境誘惑力大的情況下,青少年從事電動玩具活動的頻率就增加;(三)愈常從事電動玩具活動的青少年,其偏差犯罪行為及不良心理則愈多。而且常和朋友一起或獨自一人從事電動玩具活動者,其偏差行為顯著地較多;而和父母或兄弟姐妹一起者,其偏差行為則較少。
The purpose of this article is to identify the relationship between playing TV games and juvenile deviant behavior. Two causal models are constructed to find out factors that influence youths playing TV games and becoming deviant. Survey data collected from a weighted sample of 2,924 junior and senior high school students in Taiwan are analyzed. The data show that most youths do not have a positive attitude toward playing TV games. Additionally, the more time that the youths play TV games, the more deviant behaviors and emotional difficulties they have. The result also indicate that youths who are in lack of social control, have more economic resources and opportunities to seek excitement tend to play more TV games and have more deviant behaviors.
