美髮業對高職與二專美髮相關科系畢業生專業能力需求之研究

Research of the Hairdressing Industry's Demands for the Vocational High School and Junior College Graduate Students' Professional Competencies

摘要


本研究旨在探討美髮業對高職、二專美髮相關科系畢業生專業能力之需求,期望能提供相關課程規劃與評量之參考。本研究先採文獻分析法,取得理論依據,並以自編之「美髮業對高職美髮相關科系畢業生專業能力需求之研究」、「美髮業對二專美髮相關科系畢業生專業能力需求之研究」為工具,進行問卷調查。研究對象以與高雄市各高職美容科建教合作之美髮企業為母群,並以分層隨機抽取全國北中南區樣本,兩份問卷各發出175份,有效回收率均達80%以上。最後經統計分析,獲得重要結論如下: 一、美髮業會繼續雇用高職美髮相關科系畢業生的比例達93.6%,會繼續雇用二專美髮相關科系畢業生的比例達88.8%。 二、美髮業對高職美髮相關科系畢業生的專業能力需求有七大向度,依其需求性排序:工作態度、美髮基礎知能、顧客服務、個人發展、基礎管理知能、讀寫算基本知能、資訊技能。 三、美髮業對二專美髮相關科系畢業生的專業能力需求有七大向度,依其需求性排序:工作態度、顧客服務、職場衛生與安全、行銷知能、經營管理、美髮服務相關知能、個人發展。 四、美髮業不同「規模」、「地區」、與「職位」的店家,對高職、二專美髮相關科系畢業生專業能力的需求各有其差異性。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the hairdressing industry's demands for professional competencies of students who graduate from cosmetology departments in vocational high schools and junior colleges. Literature review was applied to construct structures for two questionnaires, ”Hairdressing Industry's Demands for Vocational High School Graduates' Professional Competencies” and ”Hairdressing Industry's Demands for Junior College Graduates' Professional Competencies.” The population of this study was those hairdressing businesses, which were around Taiwan and under the educational program with the Cosmetology Department at vocational high schools in Kaohsiung. Stratified random sampling technique was adopted and then 175 copies were sent for each questionnaire. The total return rate was over 80%. Conclusions and suggestions from this study were as follows: 1. In the future, the hairdressing industry's staffing rate of graduates from cosmetology department in vocational high school will be 93.6%, and 88.8% in junior colleges. 2. For a vocational high school graduate, 7 dimensions of competencies are found in order of demand: ”job attitude,” ”basic cosmetology skills,” ”client service,” ”personal development,” ”basic management performance,” ”reading, writing, and computing skills,” ”information technology.” 3. For a junior college graduate, 7 dimensions of competencies are found in order of demand: ”job attitude,” ”client service.” ”Job-site safety and hygiene,” ”marketing,” ”management,” ”professional service,” ”personal development.” 4. ”Corporation size,” ”Regions,” and ”Occupation” show differences among demands for professional competencies of graduates from both educational stages.
