摘要

當一種疾病會在全世界多個國家同時出現人和人間傳播的情況，無疑對人類會造成恐慌。新冠肺炎（COVID-19）的出現引起了全世界的關注，意即指該疾病不僅是一種醫療健康問題，而且還會使商業和經濟活動呈現遲緩或停頓，疫情的爆發有可能導致更嚴重的後果，並且會對全球經濟造成莫大的威脅。本研究藉由疫情主要事件發生的時間順序，分割為四個時期。第一個時期為正常活動時期，分割的切點是沒有任何疫情的訊息被傳出。第二個時期為疫情活動前期，分割的切點是有疫情的訊息但沒有被官方組織證實或發佈。第三個時期為疫情爆發時期，分割的切點是有疫情被官方組織正式發佈。第四個時期為疫情控制時期，分割的切點是官方組織正式發佈疫情為全球流大流行病之後。藉由每個時期的股票價格指數變化，來探討指數和新冠肺炎疫情關聯的緊密程度。

When a disease will spread by person-to-person transmission and quickly spreads across the world at the same time, it will undoubtedly cause panic. The emergence of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has attracted extensive attention worldwide. The disease is not only a medical and health issue but also causes business and economic activities to slow down or stall. The novel coronavirus outbreak may cause more serious problems, and pose a great threat to the global economy. In this study, four stages are divided to investigate according to the time sequence of the new coronavirus. The first stage is the period of normal activities, which is the period without information regarding the novel coronavirus. The second stage is the early stage of the novel coronavirus outbreak. In this stage, some information about the novel coronavirus is spreading without confirmed or released by any official organizations. The third stage is the period of the novel coronavirus outbreak. The cutting point is that the outbreak is officially announced by the official organization. The fourth stage is the epidemic controlling period, and the cutting point is after the official organization officially announced the disease as a global pandemic. This study researches the variation of the stock price index in correlation with the novel coronavirus in each stage.
