在新的數位時代裡,產品生命週期更短,舊技術很快就會被新技術所取代。為了要持續領先推出新產品,公司必須建立一個全方位專案管理的環境,其中包括發展一套能促進專案管理成功的企業流程。在企業的資源有限情況下,如何管理有限的人力、物力、財力、時間,加速開發出客戶期待、滿意的產品,是企業經營者的一大挑戰。若能有效的整合企業資源及導入專案式產品研發管理,將有助於此目標之達成。 因此本文藉由個案公司導入研發管理系統的研究,探討個案公司依照PDP(Plasma Display Panel)產業特性,建立一個產品研發專案模組流程,並且將模組建立在PLM(Product Lifecycle Management)資訊平台上,明確標明產品生命週期每個階段投入及產出的要求,以利開發專案團隊有效掌握每個階段之關鍵要素,順利地發展產品,達到產品快速上市的目的。
To be successful in the new digital race, where product life cycles have become shorter and technologies are quickly replaced by new technologies, companies need to organize themselves differently than in the ‘80s and ‘90s. To consistently be first – to – market(FTM), a company must establish an environment for total project management, which includes developing business processes that will faster the success of project management. Due to the resources limitation of a company, how to effectively manages the limited resources of manpower, materials and finance, in order to develop products that can meet customers’ requirements is a big challenge to top management team. Effectively integrating the enterprise’s resources and introducing a proper project management system are helpful for an enterprise to achieve this goal. This study conducts a case study on a selected company to find out how the company sets up its new product development system, according to the specific characteristics of PDP (Plasma Display Panel) industry. Based on the information platform of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), the inputs and outputs of each stage are clearly defined, so that the new product development team can follow it accordingly. With this well-defined system, new products can be quickly developed and launched to market.
