早期的台灣是以出口導向的國家,傳統產業中的紡織業更是主要出口產業之一,但是隨著近年來國際貿易重心區域的轉移,加上大陸快速的發展及崛起,以勞力密集的產業來說,生產重心不得不隨著經濟發展的變遷,逐漸的轉移至成本較低廉的東南亞國家(如大陸、越南、印尼)。由於大陸及東南亞國家擁有較便宜的勞力、廠房取得成本及優惠的退稅制度,對於台灣現階段的聚酯產業發展影響很大,而全球的聚酯纖維整體的供給過剩,也帶來了各供應商不斷的削價競爭。另外石油成本於2008年初突破了每桶百元美金大關之後,全球的經濟狀態受到了非常大的影響,首當其衝的就是上游的聚酯化纖產業。 台灣聚酯短纖產業上游受到石油影響,而下游的實際銷售價,實質能反應到最終產品的可能較少,甚至有些無法反應在消費端上,故中間許多供應商就必須吸收由上游轉移的成本。故將利用個案公司為例來分析,身處於紡織產業中的上游供應商,如何面臨石油價格上下波動、下游消費商品售價下降所帶來的雙重成本壓力,針對聚酯化纖產業未來的發展,在經營策略中如何有效的突破及開創。
The purpose of this study is to research the operational strategies of the firms in Taiwan’s Polyester Fiber industry. We analyzed and aimed to discover the competitive strategies adapted by a case company in this industry. We stared with the industry analysis, trend of raw material development and then followed with a case study. By way of the SWOT, Five Forces, the financial analysis and comparison with the same trade with the case company, we are to explore the managerial strategies of the case company, to reason out how to keep the case company’s competitiveness in the global industry.
