失效模式與效應分析(FMEA)之應用-以個案公司腳輪生產製程為例

摘要


腳輪是一個與大家生活息息相關的配件,多被應用於需要大型物體移動或搬運的場合,例如,超市或大型商場的購物車、行李推車等。腳輪的應用範圍非常廣泛,幾乎涉及任何行業,而腳輪的生產廠商也會根據不同行業的需求特性,不斷開發各式各樣的腳輪以滿足相關行業的需求。據統計,全世界大約有150,000種不同的腳輪用在各個行業中。 隨著科技的發展,消費市場對腳輪產品的功能與品質的要求越來越高,腳輪更新的週期越來越短,產品的複雜程度也隨之增高,傳統大批量的生產方式因此受到了挑戰。為了適應目前市場各種不同的需求,生產腳輪的業者卻不得不縮短產品開發週期,並以小批量、高品質、高效率及降低生產成本的方式進行生產的工作,這種狀況為這些業者帶來很大的挑戰與難度。 失效模式與效應分析是一個能在產品設計或生產階段找出可能發生問題的因素,使產品的生產保持順暢,也使產品的品質保持良好的分析工具。為了確保個案公司腳輪的生產能維持一定水準的品質和效率,本研究乃以失效模式與效應分析探討個案公司腳輪生產流程的每個步驟與內容,藉此將腳輪生產流程中可能發生的各種問題(失效模式)及其造成的不良後果(效應)都辨識出來,並依其重要性排序。如此一來,個案公司可以在腳輪生產前有效避免這些潛在問題的發生,或即使這些問題發生了,也能迅速依事先擬定的處理方式一一解決,因而有效降低因為生產流程問題所造成的損失或浪費。

Caster is an accessory that can be seen in everyone's daily live and it is used to facilitate the movement and transportation of large objects. Caster application exists almost in any industry and the caster manufacturer keeps developing different kind of caster to satisfy customer’s requirements. With the development of technology, the requirements of the function and quality of the caster are getting higher, the update cycles of the caster are getting shorter, and the product is also getting more complicated. In order to meet the market needs and improve the quality and efficiency of casters it is suggested that the caster manufacturers should shorten the production cycle, reduce product costs, and constantly improve the added value of the caster while maintain a good quality level of the product. Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is a widely used tool for assuring the quality of product design or product production process. In order to ensure the production of caster to a certain level of quality and efficiency, this study uses the FMEA to explore the caster production process to identify all the potential problems (failure modes) and their effects and prioritization by their importance. Therefore, the case company can avoid the occurrences of these potential problems before they arise or even if these problems do occur they can be promptly resolved according to the resolutions established in advance. Hence, the damage or loss caused by the failure modes will be effectively reduced.
