This research proposed the comparison between solvent-based and UV curable ink on the leather for color difference and printability, including light fastness test, rubbing tests, resistance to alcohol test and flexing test. The experiment result shows that the color and printability of UV-curable inks has well performance, except the flexing test, cracking phenomenon occurs. For users, although solvent-based inks in all aspects of poor performance, it does not affect the texture and touch feeling of leather. Rate of solvent-based white ink covered need to be improved. In the future, the applications of solvent-based ink for leather and the white ink development action are very important.
