筆者試圖以使用圖書館自動化系統之實務經驗,探討臺北市公立小學圖書館(室)目前採用之「校務行政圖書館系統」,使用者之使用反應。首先介紹系統的功能與優缺點;其次,以電話詢問使用系統現況及所遭遇的問題,並進行資料分析整理。調查結果顯示小學圖書館已經使用圖書館自動化系統有72所(佔96%),3所(佔4%)學校尚未使用系統;採用「校務行政圖書館系統」卻高達61所。50所(佔81.97%)由專任人員(幹事)來使用系統。多數學校認為系統的穩定度不錯,並無打算更換新系統。使用者所遭遇的問題是:新舊系統轉換時書目品質不佳,系統本身不具Web功能等等,最後建議未來系統能夠提供更符合使用者與讀者需求的圖書館自動化系統。
Libraries in most public elementary schools in Taipei adopted the ”Administrative Library System” as their automatic library systems. The reactions of the users to this system were discussed in this article. Firstly, the author of this article introduced the functions, benefits and disadvantages of the system, based on her own experiences. Secondly, the survey result was concluded by telephone interviews with 75 public elementary schools on their current situations and problems encountered during the usage of this automatic library system.
