(Bondage and discipline, Dominance and suBmission, and Sadism and masochism, BDSM)作為一種多元樣貌的性活動,同時處於受汙名的狀態,其實踐者(BDSMers)究竟透過怎樣的溝通互動歷程建構與接受BDSM的性認同?
This research attempts to explore: Bondage and discipline, Dominance and suBmission, and Sadism and masochism (BDSM) as a sexual activity with various forms and possibilities while being stigmatized, first, what kind of communication and interaction process do the interviewed BDSMers take to construct and accept their BDSM sexual identity? Second, what forms of the sexual identity do the BDSMers construct? The results of the study found that the process of the interviewees' BDSM self-identity construction can be roughly divided into three stages: (1) discovery, (2) recognition and deconstruction of stigma, and (3) acceptance and continuous deconstruction of stigma. In addition, the BDSM identity of the interviewees goes beyond the basic role setting in the traditional BDSM community, and there are multiple images such as Switch, objectification (doll and artwork), animalization (dog slave); the interviewed BDSMers even have to negotiate the differences and contradictions between their BDSM self-identification and the role framework defined by the community, so as to develop a self-transformed identity under the interaction of the two images, breaking through the over-idealization or stereotyped images, and self-healing deformation.
