本研究探討多國企業(Multinational Corporations; MNCs)子公司高階主管任用決策之影響。本研究從子公司角色(Subsidiary Roles)觀點,認為子公司在多國企業內扮演之角色不同,會影響子公司之知識需求(公司知識需求、市場知識需求)。此外,子公司知識需求會進而影響多國企業子公司高階主管之任用決策,亦即任用外派人員(Parent Country Nationals; PCNs)或地主國人員(Host Country Nationals; HCNs)之決策。 本研究以多國企業母公司之人資主管為問卷填答者,採郵寄問卷及網路問卷方式進行施測,共回收120份問卷,其中扣除無效問卷16份,最後有效問卷共有104份。問卷經由編碼後進行統計分析,先進行信效度檢測,再進行相關分析、集群分析、單因子變異數分析與迴歸分析來探討變數間關係,以驗證本研究之假設。
This study explores antecedents of staffing decision on subsidiaries’ high-level managers in MNCs. From the perspective subsidiaries roles, this study proposes that subsidiaries’ roles have the impact on their knowledge needs. Otherwise, subsidiaries’ knowledge needs have the impact on subsidiaries’ high-level managers staffing decision (e.g. PCNs and HCNs). The respondents are human resource managers in parent companies. This study distributed and collected questionnaires by mailing and internet. 120 questionnaires were returned in total. After deleting 16 invalid questionnaires, finally there were 104 valid questionnaires. After coding, this study proceeded statistical analysis, including reliability and validity tests, correlation, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and regression analysis, in order to verify hypotheses.
