摘要 本研究主要在探討桃園縣國小新移民子女在數學學習態度上的現況,以及新移民子女數學學習態度,是否因學生的性別、年級、母親國籍及家庭社經地位不同而有所差異。本研究採用自編的「桃園縣國小學童數學學習態度問卷」為調查工具,其中探討的數學學習態度分為「主動探索數學程度」、「對自己數學表現看法」、「數學有用性」與「對數學成功態度」等四個類別,並以桃園縣一所國民小學四年級~六年級新移民子女為研究對象。 本研究獲致的研究結果如下: 一、新移民子女數學學習態度各層面現況良好,其認為學數學是有用的,惟在探索數學上比較被動。 二、男性新移民子女的數學學習態度整體表現優於女性新移民子女。 三、四年級新移民子女比六年級新移民子女更主動探索數學。 四、國小新移民子女之數學學習態度不受母親國籍及家庭社經地位之影響。
Abstract The purpose of this study is to explore new immigrant children’s attitudes towards mathematics and whether new immigrant children’s attitudes towards mathematics vary with new immigrant children’s gender, grade, nation, and family socioeconomic status. This research employs a questionnaire survey method. New immigrant children’s attitudes were divided into four categories: exploring mathematics actively, confidence in learning mathematics, usefulness of mathematics, and attitudes toward success in mathematics. The population were the 4th ~6th grade new immigrant children of one elementary school in Taoyuan county. The results of this research are as follows: 1. New immigrant children’s overall attitudes towards mathematics are rated 3.58 in a 5-point Likert scale. The children think learning mathematics is useful, but they are not willing to explore mathematics actively. 2. New immigrant boys’ overall attitudes towards mathematics are better than girls. 3. Fourth graders are willing to explore mathematics actively than sixth graders. 4. New immigrant children’s attitudes towards mathematics are not affected by their mothers’ nationalities and family socioeconomic status.
