中國美容養生保健文化之研究－以台灣地區使用珍珠粉為例

摘要

本文旨在探討如何藉由「吃」何種食物來達到美容保健的目的，而該吃些什麼?該怎樣吃?這些都和擁有美麗的肌膚有關係嗎?而中國繁體字中的「膚」字，又隱含了甚麼的奧秘呢?其中，發現「膚」中不就有一個「胃」字嗎?這個「膚」字引起了我對飲食和美容之間有甚麼關聯性的好奇心，更想去進一步的探討，肌膚與吃的關係是如何?本研究利用質性研究中的深度訪談法，問與答的內容是相當具有彈性的，但仍以「珍珠粉」產品作為核心發問內容，來進行了解珍珠粉應用在現代產品中之概況，除傳統中草藥食品外，也針對珍珠粉保健食品、美容商品及複合式的衍生商品等，作相關的探討與分析。由於，歷代的宮廷后妃從養顏的目的出發，卻得到了保健身體的效果。由此可知，古人認為除了日常皮膚保養外，光靠外在的美容化妝品就想使容貌美麗，是不夠的，還需要通過選擇適當的食品，對症下「食」才是美的根本之道。而中國古代宮廷后妃在注重美貌的同時，也會從日常生活中的飲食來作為達到美容養生之方法。本研究藉由中國美容養生文化來深入探討，如何從「飲食」來達到美容養生的目的，進而達到保健身體的效果。

The study is intended for investigation of facial beauty care based on food and the relationship between the content of diet or the dietary approach and beautiful skin. There is a mystery hidden in the structure of the traditional Chinese character of “skin” in which we can find a “stomach” included. This character of “skin” aroused my curiosity to disclose the correlation between diet and beauty or skin by further investigation. As the core issue of the depth interview in qualitative research flexible questions/answers and adopted in this study, the status of “pearl powder products” which have been applied to modern commodities and include health foods, cosmetics and related composite products in addition to conventional Chinese herbal medicine were investigated and studied herein. Holding an original idea of facial care, kings’ empresses and concubines residing in palaces of past dynasties also attained health bodies. It can be seen from their examples that the ancients believed the proper diets were indispensible to beauty and skin in addition to regular skin care based on cosmetics. These empresses and concubines who lived in ancient Chinese palaces and concerned their beauty also knew the methods to attain health bodies from regular diets as well. In this study, we expect to deeply discover how to reach the goal of beauty and body care through “diet”, furthermore to gain the effects of health care from the viewpoint of Chinese health care culture associated with beauty and body care.
