回收聚丙烯之物性探討

The Study on the Physical Properties of Multi-Extruded of Polypropylene

摘要


本研究採用市售聚丙烯(iPP)單聚物純料以單螺桿射出成形機經多次回收粉碎、再射出方式,測試各次試樣之物性,探討iPP經連續射出加工對其物性之影響。實驗結果發現經多次回收處理後之iPP,除衝擊強度呈上下微幅變動外,熔融指數(MFI)、熱變形溫度(HDT)、彎曲測試(彎曲強度及彎曲模數)、拉伸測試等各項性質之檢測數據明顯高於Virgin iPP,機械性質並未下降且有改善之現象,顯示iP P雖經多次加工其機械性質仍呈現穩定狀態;另藉由FTIR、XRD、GPC、DSC、DMA等儀器,測試各試樣之結晶行為、分子量變化及熱性質,實驗結果顯示除Tg、Tm、tanδ及分子量下降外,於結晶溫度、熔融焓、結晶度、結晶速率、損失模數、儲存模數及分子量分布均一性等皆上升,晶形為穩定之α晶態並未發生晶態轉變情形,至於FTIR光譜圖未發現羰基基團,則無發生氧化降解情形。綜合前述各項效應仍使得回收iPP之熱性質、機械性質等獲得提升。顯示iPP具優良再加工性及耐熱性,其回收再利用效益佳。

The influence of recycle processes, including crusher, granulation and injection, on the properties of Isotactic Polypropylene (iPP) is investigated in this study. The results show that the properties of recycled iPP such as melt flow index (MFI), heat deflection temperature (HDT), flexural test (flexural strength and flexural modulus) and tensile test are high than that of virgin iPP, except impact strength with a little variation. The mechanical of iPP after several recycles seems not to be reduced but improved. It shows that the property of iPP is stable after several processing processes. In addition, crystallize behavior, molecular changes and thermal property is investigated by FTIR, XRD, GPC, DSC and DMA. The data illustrates that only Tg、tanδand Tm are decreased but crystallize temperature, melting enthalpy, crystallinity, crystallization rate, loss modulus, storage modulus and molecular distribution are increased. The morphology of crystal is unchanged. The carbonyl group is not seen through FTIR exam. There is no oxygenize degradable in recycled iPP. It concludes that iPP owns a good recycled processing and good heat endurance after several manufacturing processes.
