Human beings are key players in the implementation of knowledge management. This is especially true in organizations because organizations need to keep long-term competitive advantage which is based on continuous innovation. The foundation of innovation is to activate and utilize knowledge which is not possible without efforts of human beings. In the past, knowledge innovations in library were discussed on services, but less on viewpoints of human beings (librarians). Due to advance of information technology and social media resulted the change of information dissemination. These also brought new chance of innovative services, especially public libraries. Public Librarians ought to be respected as key players of innovative services because they have expertise of digital content curation and taste of information (knowledge) that enable them to have more opportunities to utilize information technology, social media, and Internet to provide diversified services for communities.
