The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between working stress and emotional management of Kaohsiung City high school physical education teachers. The study employed questionnaire survey method. A total of 120 questionnaires were issued with 94 valid questionnaires received from teachers of municipal high schools in Kaohsiung City. Data were collected through Questionnaire on Working stress and Emotional Management of Municipal High School Physical Education Teachers in Kaohsiung and analyzed by the methods -statistics analysis, canonical correlation. The conclusions of the study are presented as follows:1.There were significant canonical factors between working stress and emotional management. 2. A negative relationship existed between emotional management and working stress among Kaohsiung municipal high school physical education teachers (ρ1=.647, ρ2=.615). This research showed that physical education teachers having higher emotional management ability will decrease their working stress.
