形而上理論對原創性設計之探討

摘要

一般設計均專注在造形、色彩、結構、圖案之設計實務，其實背後操控設計方向係形而上的設計哲學思想，本文是以中國幾個代表性學說思想去尋找原創性(original)元素，例如從老莊學說「道」去探討設計的意義與存在的價值，從「道」去找到以虛控實的道理，也從道去中和人、物、環的銜接，又從儒家學的「仁」，在「合義」「不合義」來區分「正利」與「邪利」去找人性化設計。從五行去找「相生」與「相應」的設計等中國深奧的理論，這些哲理物隱藏著原創性設計元素的契機。

Normally design concentrates on the practical theme of form, color, structure and pattern. But in behind, the design philosophy of metaphysics manipulates the design aspects. The idea of this article is to look for original elements from the thoughts of Chinese major doctrines, such as through Taoism, to explore the meanings of design, to realize virtual dominates reality, as well as to integrate human being with substance and environment. Further, people also search for humanize design by ”ren” of Confucianism, and to discover the ”grow” and ”corresponsive” design from the concept of ancient Chinese Five Elements. It indicates these profound Chinese theories conceal original elements of design.
