Coronary artery calcification is frequently observed in low dose computed tomography for lung cancer screen (LDLCS), however, its measurement has not been compared with ECG-gated Regular Coronary Artery Calcium Score (RCACS). This research has been collected 30 subjects for health screening from January to June of 2008. We modified the reconstruction of the raw data optimal for Agatston score and compared with that by RCACS. We found there was high correlation of the score (R=0.99) and high consistency of the score ranking (Kappa=0.81). We concluded that LDLCS can survey both of lung disease and coronary artery calcification in a single scan. The Agatston score ranking by LDLCS can serve as a triage for further study of coronary artery disease.
