本研究主要探討國際觀光旅館與一般歇業觀光旅館市場的定位與競爭之關係。根據本研究結果顯示,國際觀光旅館的興起確實會導致一般觀光旅館歇業。存活之國際觀光旅館與歇業之一般觀光旅館,在員工人數、客房數、總營業收入、員工產值、平均房價、平均住房率方面,不僅均具有顯著差異,且存活之國際觀光旅館上述各項變數的平均數皆高於歇業之一般觀光旅館。由此可知,國際觀光旅館的服務品質及旅客對於國際觀光旅館之需求均大於一般觀光旅館,營業績效亦較一般觀光旅館佳;另外,透過多元迴歸分析,一般觀光旅館歇業受到客房數、總營業收入、員工產值、平均房價、平均住房率等因子的影響;其中以總營業收入的影響力明顯高於其他因子,顯示擁有較高的總營業收入,越能繼續生存於市場,並由調整後的R^2得知,此模型的解釋能力高達70.4%。
This paper explored the relationship between the closure of tourism hotel and market position and competition of international tourism hotels. We found the facts those the emerging of the international tourism hotels leaded the closure of tourism hotels. Besides, the results showed that six dimensions existed significant different which were number of employees, number of rooms, return on sales, average production value per employee, average daily rate, average occupation rate of room. This paper concluded that the quality of services, quantities of demand, and operating performances for the international tourism hotels were more than those of tourism hotels. On the other hand, we anticipated that there were some significant impacts on number of rooms, return on sales, average production value per employee, average daily rate, average occupation rate of rooms in the shut-down hotels by the multiple linear regression method. The R^2 value was 70.4%.
