In the traditional interpretation the Jiagu meeting of Qi-Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius personally took the ritual and justice to protect the benefit of Lu as the main point of view. The author further examined the historical case by literary analysis and social network analysis from the perspective of real political interests. I argue that the Jiagu meeting has a complex exchange of political interests and power struggles. The acquisition field of Wenyang is not entirely beneficial to the diplomatic interaction. The power balance between Qi and Lu, and Lu is more likely to lose more political interests in this meeting.
