「竹淬」－以竹工藝應用於鎧甲造型創作之研究

竹子生長快速，一般3～4年即可利用，不似一般喬木，常需數十年方可利用。隨著目前全球環保意識抬頭，使用竹子當作創作元素，已是很多創作者心中思考的一個選擇；本研究順應這股環保潮流，將竹材藉各種不同的竹藝編織技法來呈現本次整體造型創作。本研究收集竹編、竹材應用，與學習竹編設計規劃，針對竹材應用於整體造型進行創作研究，首先深入探討竹產業文化之意涵，然後擬定以古代藤甲兵戰袍型式為主題，創作類似於古代戰士穿在身上的防護裝具，作為時尚配件服裝化表現，並在髮型與彩妝上呈現兇猛動物之圖飾樣貌。本研究作品素材是以竹篾編織、黏貼、破壞重組，以富有傳統民俗結合時尚設計的造型，來表達作品創新結合時尚感的美學意象。

Unlike other trees that require decades to grow up, bamboos are known for shooting up fast and can be put to good use in three or four years. Along with the global awareness of environmental protection, using bamboos as an element of creation has become a good choice for designers. This study accommodates the trend and applies various kinds of bamboo braiding technique to present the researcher's artworks. In this study, the researcher collected the applications of bamboos and bamboo braiding, as well as learned to apply the material into overall image design. Firstly, probe the meaning of bamboo industrial culture and choose the armor of ancient warriors as the subject. Secondly, create the wearing protective equipment of ancient warriors as a fashion costume along with fierce animals totem on the makeup and hairstyle. With braiding and sticking bamboo strips through the process of destruction and reconstruction, this artwork presents the mix aesthetic image of traditional folk and modern fashion design.
