新穎螢光探針之發展與突破

Current Status and Development of Novel Fluorescent Probes for Analytes Detection

摘要


近年來螢光探針蓬勃發展,由於能快速且靈敏地偵測目標物,使螢光探針成為重要的醫療診斷工具。然而在生物體中做測試時,往往會受到環境中複雜蛋白的干擾,進而產生錯誤的診斷。因此我們設計了一種新型螢光探針,利用保護盾的特性消除干擾的產生,大幅提升診斷的準確性。另一部分,我們設計出一種新型近紅外光螢光探針,克服了背景訊號高的問題,避免生物背景螢光的干擾,並且成功應用於免清洗之細胞影像。我們可以更進一步的優化這兩種螢光探針,在生物分析檢測、臨床診斷及目標物監測等技術上有重大性的發展。

Recently, fluorescent probes have become an important tool in medical diagnosis because they can rapidly and sensitively detect target analytes. However, quantitative detection of trace amounts of a biomarker in protein rich samples using fluorescent probes is a great challenge as the real signal is usually obscured by nonspecific fluorescence. We have designed several novel fluorescent probes that can overcome the problems of nonspecific fluorescence and applied them in no-wash live cells imaging. Currently, we are improving the fluorescent probes performance. We believe that they can be applied in biomedical analysis and environmental pollutants monitoring in the near future.
