摘要
作者於2007-2008年之間在位於中部的色蓀林場採集到芝麻蝸Gastroptychia gabata，因為在鑑定過程中發現特徵與原描述不同，因此詳細檢視這一些標本的殼內部板狀結構，並且比對模式標本。發現本種具有縱顎板、軸板、橫板與襞板各一條，並據此修正原描述所述的缺乏縱顎板。這也是本屬蝸牛的內部板狀結構的第一次報告。

Specimens of Gastroptychia gabata collected from Nantou County were identified and examined. The lamellar morphology of these specimens is incongruent to the original description of this species. Therefore, the type specimens were reexamined to confirm the identification. Four lamellae, one transversal lamella, one longitudinal palatalis, one parietalis and one columellaris were observed in all specimens, an emendation of the original description is made accordingly. The internal lamellae of Gastroptychia are described for the first time.
