The Gold-Silicon Surface Barrier Detector

The gold-silicon surface barrier detectors are constructed using 1KΩ-cm n-type silicon. The characteristics of the detectors are measured by using a particles from Al^(27)(d, α)Mg^(25) reaction and Am^(241) source. The resolution of the detector is 1.8% for 7.2 MeV a particle.
