摘要

本文的前題是二次戰後的世界秩序是殖民主義新的延續；也因此必需批判性的檢驗學術論述與殖民主義的關係。本文的分析對象是1914年至1945年間，日據南洋群鳥時，所謂熱帶科學的學術生產。最後，本文將「鳥民」的「科學」建構與「大東亞共榮圈」的方案與作歷史性的連結。

This essay works under the assumption that the post-war order has been a new continuation of colonialism, so that it calls for critical examination of relationship between colonialism and academic production of the so-called Tropic Sciences in the Southern Island controlled by Japan over the thirty years of their military occupation in 1914 to the defeat in the World War IL In the end, this ”scientific” construction of ”the island people” will be linked historically with the ”Greater East Asla Co-prosperity Sphere” project.
