本研究置重點於網路社群是否能夠影響現實社會環節的運作,以Facebook為案例,以監視社會理論途徑分析社群平台運用與使用者的互動關係,探討網路社群力量之影響與發展。研究立基現有網路社群及其凝聚現象之文獻,探討Facebook虛實不分的互動現象,對網路輿論做進一步的分析。 本研究有以下數點發現: 一、網路社群互動具有將虛擬凝聚轉化成現實影響力的能力,其動能甚至可比擬國家機器的運作; 二、筆者以沙聚模型來形容網路使用者輿論的聚合消散,這種猶如新月型沙丘輿論模型,具體展現在,當今社會的部分互動已移轉至Facebook。經由資料瀏覽,可快速交流使用者間的想法,加速某些社群的輿論凝聚; 三、Facebook使用者對個人資訊的瀏覽已形成監視社會,相當程度取代以往人際互動的運作模式; 四、Facebook可透過對每位使用者的審查或監視,獲得個資,轉成其商業利益或進一步取得影響力。
The theme of this research is to study the impact of Internet communities on the empirical world. Taking Facebook as an example, this study applied surveillance society theories to analyze the relationship between Internet communities and the users. Research findings were based on the analyses of Internet communities and its cohesion effect in Facebook's communication. Regardless of the real or virtual interaction, the Facebook can further shape the public opinion. This study reached the following findings: First, the Internet community has the ability to convert the virtual into the real; its power can be compared with the basic function of the state apparatus; Second, the author argued that public opinion shaped by the internet was similar to the formation of crescent-shaped dune model. The rapid exchange of information and ideas between users accelerated social cohesion within certain social groups. Third, the browse of personal information in the Facebook has formed a surveillance society that has replaced the existing monitoring pattern to a great extent. Fourth, Facebook has collected the users’ personal information and turned the information into commercial interests or to obtain further influence.
