通識社會科學課程之設計:以“全球化與本土化”課程為例

摘要


近年來,通識教育已被視為大學教育的重點課程之一,但如何做好通識教育的課程規劃,並能落實通識教育的成效,卻仍是相當的模糊。究其原因,或許是一般將通識教育的理念設定得太高,但在實踐上,卻顯得個人的力量無關宏旨,以至於教授通識教育的個別教師無法彰顯熱情,並定位其個別在通識教育中的角色。本文除對當前通識教育的實施情況提出檢討外,並以個別通識教師規劃個別課程的角度出發,說明筆者如何設計及實施一門社會科學類的課程-「全球化與本土化」。希望野人獻曝,能拋磚引玉,對通識教育課程之增進有所助益。

Recently, the general education has become one of the important curricula in all university but it seems still relatively vague about its curricular programming and effects. Perhaps, it is because the goal of the general education is over-expected so that individual teachers could hardly express their passion and fix their role play. In the article, the author would like to examine the practices of general education first and then proposed a social science curriculum-”globalization and indigenization” as an example of course design. Hopefully, it could cause more attention and do something to general education.
