The purpose of this study was to investigate the shoulder protective strategies on volleyball athletes after surgery. The research methods included literature review on shoulder injury progressive exercises for return-to-field athletic interviewed 4 athletes who returned to Collage Cup, business leagues and national team about progressive exercises. The results included shoulder injury on volleyball and shoulder progressive exercises. Specifically, the first strategy was to increase ROM and decrease scar tissue after surgery. The second one was to stretch muscles before exercise in order to prevent muscle strain. The third one was to enhance scapula stability, especially on rotator cuff. The fourth one was a comprehensive training on supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis and teres minor. The fifth one was strength on pectoris for arm flexion, adduction, and internal rotation.
