本研究之目的為探討憂鬱傾向與計畫能力的關係以了解憂鬱與認知能力之關係。 本研究的受試者是交通大學和高學醫學大學的學生(N=107),第一階段以貝克憂鬱量表第二版對大學生進行憂鬱傾向分組,以量表分數在全部的大學生中百等級七十五以上的為高憂鬱傾向組(N=20),百分等級二十五以下的為低憂鬱傾向組(N=24)。第二階段進行Tunstall倫敦之塔作業(ToL4)和顏色配對作業以評估兩組之計畫能力。數據以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定對收集的資料進行統計分析與處理。 研究結果顯示:高憂鬱傾向大學生在ToL4作業的計畫時間、三次嘗試內以最少移動步數完成的題目數、作業分數和在顏色配對作業的計畫時間皆較低憂鬱傾向大學生差。以較精細的時間單位測量反應時間的顏色配對作業時的差異達顯著水準。憂鬱傾向與計畫能力具負相關,憂鬱傾向嚴重者計畫能力比沒有或輕微憂鬱傾向者計畫能力差。
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between depressive tendency and planning ability. The subjects consisted of students (n=107) from National Chiao-Tung University and Kaoshiung Medical University. In the first part of this study, students took Beck Depressive Inventory-II (BDI-II). They were then divided into two groups according to the score from BDI-II. Those with the score within the top 25% (PR=75) of all Ss were labeled “high depressive tendency” group (n=20) and those with the score within the bottom 25% (PR=25) of all Ss were labeled “low depressive tendency” group (n=24). The planning ability of the two groups was evaluated by means of two tasks—the Tower of London - Tunstall version(ToL4) and Color Matching. The results revealed that the group with high depressive tendency was significantly worse in ToL4 (planning time, the number of moves solved within three trials, A total score) and Color Matching (planning time). Thus, we concluded that there was relationship between depressive tendency and planning ability; the college students with high depressive tendency had worse planning ability compared to those with low depressive tendency.
