國畫用色料之耐光性

Light-fastness of Colorants Used on Chinese Writing & Painting Paper

摘要


圖畫在中國歷史文化上之地位極為重要,畫中的顏料色彩可充分表現出民族文化與社會動態,然而,完美的畫作在歷經展示後,由於受到環境中的光線影響,導致畫中的色彩產生了變化,失去了原有的活潑與生氣。因此,本試驗目的在於比較國畫常用色料之耐光性,進而提供作畫者選擇之參考,裨使畫作能延長保存及確保其價值。本試驗所測試的色料計有市售的本立堂與大陸顏料、水彩、廣告顏料等21種,分別進行耐光性試驗。各種色料經過太陽燈管照射後,再以配備積分球之可見光-紫外線光譜儀分析其著色力、色差值與三顏色參數之變化。試驗結果顯示,本立堂顏料之著色力優於大陸顏料;本立堂與大陸顏料中均以藤黃之著色力最優,而以硃磦之著色力最差;本立堂與大陸顏料之耐光性均以藤黃為最差,本立堂顏料中以花青、赭石、硃磦與石青之耐光性較佳,而大陸顏料中則以赭石與硃磦之耐光性為佳;三種大陸藤黃之著色力與耐光性差異不大。其他有關各種色料之性質變化與比較,文中亦一一加以詳細討論。

The purpose of this research is to compare the light-fastness of colorants applied onto Chinese writing & painting paper. Twenty one colorants including local-made pigments, Mainland chinese pigments, water color and poster color are examined. After exposure to accelerated light-fastness test , coloring strength, color difference and the change of three color parameters of the colorants examined are analyzed by visible-ultraviolet spectrophotometer equipped with integrating sphere. The experimental results reveal that local-made pigments possess better coloring strength than the Mainland chinese pigments. Among the all local-made and Mainland chinese pigments, the best coloring strength and the worst light-fastness are displayed by Terng- wang (Camboge) pigments. However, there is no significant difference among the three kinds of Terng- Hwang pigments made in Mainland. In addition, other light-induced changes in the properties of the colorants are also compared and discussed in details.
