休閒教育的實施與發展

The Implementation and Development of Leisure Education

摘要


玩與休閒是人類基本需求。人們有錢有閒時,為了提高生活品質,開始重視休閒教育的發展。透過休閒教育的加強,個人與社會獲益良多,政府與民間都逐漸有此體認而介入愈多。休閒教育主要包括提升一般人與專業人員的休閒素養兩個方向。其蓬勃的發展與終身學習、文化的民主、與社會的開放有關。歐美先進國家實施休閒教育的方向與推廣的原則與做法,可為國內發展休閒教育之參考。全文共有八節,包括:(1)休閒教育的發展;(2)休閒教育的意義、目的、與範圍;(3)休閒教育主要的內容與模式;(4)休閒教育在學校與社區的推廣;(5)休閒專業教育;(6)休閒教育研究;(7)台灣的休閒教育:危機與改變,與(8)結語:休閒教育的世界趨勢。

Play and leisure are basic needs of human beings. The need for leisure education arises when people become more affluent and have more free time. As the benefits of leisure to individuals and to society have been recognized, leisure education has gained much attention from the general public as well as governments in Western societies over the past several years. Leisure education focuses on enhancing the leisure literacy of the general public and of professionals. The ideas of lifelong learning, cultural democracy, and a trend toward an open society have created a nurtured environment for the development of leisure education. These principles provide us with knowledge and visions while studying the experiences of development and implementation of leisure education in Western societies. Leisure education crises exist in Taiwan and, thus, call for changes. These changes must be incorporated into the trends of the entire world.
