马来西亚华文小学华语教师专业素质调查与研究—以吉隆坡冼都区为例

Professional Competency of Chinese Language Teachers from Chinese Primary Schools in Malaysia: An Investigation in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

摘要


教师专业素质取决于教师自身的专业态度、知识水平、教学技能等,并在很大程度上影响教学成效。本研究旨在探讨:1、马来西亚华文小学华语教师的专业素质如何?2、马来西亚华文小学华语教师在专业素质上存在哪些问题,该如何解决这些问题?本研究采用问卷调查法,对来自吉隆坡冼都区七所华文小学的116位华语教师进行了调查,探讨教师的专业素质情况。研究结果显示马来西亚华文小学华语教师的专业素质还有提升的空间,建议教育行政机构、培训机构、校方与教师几方联动,共同推动教师专业素质的提升。

Teachers' professional competency hinges on their attitude, knowledge and teaching skill, and underlies the effectiveness of teaching. This paper aims to explore: (1) How competent are Chinese language teachers from Chinese Primary School in Malaysia? (2) What are the problems faced by these teachers and how to solve the problems? A total of 116 Chinese language teachers from 7 Chinese primary schools in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur were investigated through questionnaire survey. The findings indicate that there is still room for improvement in teachers' professional competency. It is thus suggested that educational authorities, training institutions, schools and teachers should collaborate to enhance the professional competency of Chinese language teachers in Malaysia.
