《华人社会与文化》课的课程设置研究:以马来西亚新纪元学院应用华语教学专业文凭课程为例

摘要


《华人社会与文化》是应用华语教学专业的重点科目之一。华人在马来西亚的土地上于各领域都有非常卓越的表现。在泛谈《华人社会与文化》时,我们更应该注重将此科目“本土化”,使它更具特性。本论文将针对新纪元学院“应用华语教学专业文凭课程”中的《华人社会与文化》科目进行分析及提供改善建议,以使课程更具“马来西亚化”,让学生在了解世界华人社会和文化的基础上,能深入理解马来西亚华人社会与文化的形成与传承,以利日后能将学科知识融入华语文教学中。

A course entitled "Chinese Social and Culture" is a key subject in the Diploma in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) in New Era College, Malaysia. In the teaching of this course, emphasis is placed on the local context to highlight the distinctiveness of the contents. This study examines the contents of this course with the aim to suggest recommendations for improvements in its curriculum. By giving due attention to the characteristics of Malaysian Chinese society and culture, TCSL students will be able to place what is learned in the proper perspective of the Chinese community on a worldwide basis. Students will appreciate how Malaysian Chinese society has developed and transmitted their culture and hence to integrate and relate their knowledge in the teaching of the Chinese language in the Malaysian context.
