自民國74年8月至75年4月間分成三季於台北市抽購進口冰淇淋309件,檢驗生菌數及大陽桿菌屬細菌。檢驗結果生菌數超過限量者有58件(18.8%),大腸桿菌屬細菌陽性者有149件(48.2%),不合衛生標準者計有166件(53.7%),經卡方分析,進口冰淇淋之衛生品質不受季節影響。分析八個廠牌,其中有五個廠牌不合格率高達64.7%以上,污染情形嚴重。

An investigation concerning sanitation status of imported ice cream was conducted in three quarters from August 1985 to April 1986. 309 samples were purchased and tested for total bacterial count and coliform bacteria. The result showed that bacterial count of 58 samples were beyond the limit (18.8%). 149 samples were found to have coliform bacteria (48.2%), and a total 166 samples didn't meet the Hygienic Standard (53.7%). By the chi-square analysis, we find that the results are not significantly different among three quarters. Among eight brands, five brands have high contaminated rate (>64.7%).
