A microbiol survey on 300 samples of market frozen foods (heating needed before serving) were proceeded during Oct. 1984 through June 1985, The results showed that 169 samples (56.5%) failed to meet the food hygienic standard, especially the oyster-roll and shrimp-roll style food, the detection ratio was 70.8%. Besides, the detection ratio of raviolis also renched 68.9%. There was no significant difference between those heated before being frozen and those unheated before being frozen. There was also no significant defference in the detection ratios among the sampling places, such as low-price centers, facteries and groceries by chi-square analysis.
