竹材室內家飾之開發與設計研究

竹材為臺灣重要的森林資源，竹加工業為臺灣重要的傳統產業，近年來由於產業環境的變遷，使得臺灣竹產業呈現明顯的衰退趨勢。本研究以SWOT分析國內竹產業，比較傳統竹工藝與現代設計工藝的差異，其結果顯示竹的天然形體與物理性質等特色，是吸引竹材加工業者及設計師選擇的關鍵。臺灣雖具豐富的竹材加工基礎及竹林資源，但竹產業若未能發展出更具創意及文化特質的製品，並朝企業化模式經營，將令國內竹的發展性受到極大的限制，亦會使得竹材市場居於劣勢的局面。此外，竹材室內家飾開發設計時，首應分析各主題的內容與目的，進而將竹的自然線條與材質結合各種加工技術，以呈現製品的特色。依設計圖進行製作時，需評估是否能克服材料品質、加工技術、設備等問題，而各製品規格化的程度除了影響成本外，亦決定該製品的商業開發潛能及價值。

Bamboo is the most important forest resource in Taiwan and bamboo industry used to be one of the major traditional industries in the past. In recent years, the vicissitude of bamboo industrial environment leads to the obvious decline tendency of bamboo industry. The objectives of this study are using SWOT method to analyze bamboo industry in Taiwan and to compare the differences between traditional bamboo craft and modern design craft. The results showed that bamboo processing industry and designer were fascinated with its natural shape and physical properties. There has unique bamboo processing technology and bamboo resources in Taiwan, but these creativity and cultural characteristic products cannot be developed without appropriate commercial management. Thus, bamboo's expansibility will be constrained and bamboo market will become shrunk. Results also reveal that the subject and goal of interior furniture should be analyzed before develop and design the interior furniture, The combination of bamboo's natural configuration and material properties with process technology should also be emphasized for bamboo products. Furthermore, any problem that may come from material properties, processing technology, and equipments should be overcome before manufacture bamboo products. The standardized degree of bamboo products will influence their cost, commercial development potential and values.
