臺大實驗林溪頭營林區生態滯洪池之環境生態與景觀改善效益評估

Assessing the Benefits of Environmental Ecology and Landscape Improvement in the Detention Ponds of NTUEF, Xitou

摘要


本研究針對臺大實驗林溪頭營林區之溪頭自然教育園區於九二一震災及桃芝風災後復建工程中於大學坑所設立之兩座串連式之生態滯洪池進行環境生態與景觀改善效益評估。研究中選定兩座滯洪池及大學坑之對照樣區,於2011年四季(2月、5月、8月、11月)進行植生、昆蟲之調查,並對到訪遊客進行滯洪池效益之問卷調查。研究結果顯示在大學坑總共調查到48科81屬89種之植物,設立兩座滯洪池後對植生有明顯之影響,滯洪池內之優勢物種與坑溝中不同;各季調查結果因生態滯洪池中是否蓄水而影響維管束植物之生長,而大學坑對照樣區之植生無明顯之變化。昆蟲於第3季(夏季)其科數與隻數明顯高於其他3季,生態滯洪池因環境空曠,有利於飛行能力較佳之昆蟲棲息。經遊客問卷調查(500份問卷,有效問卷數410份)分析結果顯示,有到過大學坑之遊客多數肯定生態滯洪池在景觀營造上及生態多樣化之效益,有超過8成之遊客表示有再度重遊生態滯洪池之意願,問卷分析結果亦顯示溪頭大學坑有加強宣傳之必要。

This study aims to assess the ecological benefits of two constructed detention ponds at National Taiwan University Experimental Forest, Xitou after the Ji-Ji Earthquake and Typhoon Toraji. The vegetation and insects of both detention ponds were investigated every season in 2011 while the University Gully served as a comparison site. In addition, tourists' perceptions of ecological benefits about detention ponds were surveyed. Comparing to the vegetation in comparison site (University Gully), there are 48 family, 81 genus and 89 species have been found significant influence by both detention ponds and the dominant species of vegetation is quite different between detention ponds and the comparison site. Besides, the growth of vascular plants is limited due to the water storage of detention ponds during winter and spring. However, the comparison site shows no significant change. The number of appearances and families of insects in summer is higher than the other seasons. The insects with better flight capability have higher appearance frequency comparing to the other insects at detention ponds. The results of tourists' survey show that (1) the majority of tourists hold positive attitude towards the effect of detention pond in landscape building and biodiversity; (2) over 80% of tourists intend to revisit the University Gully; (3) more promoting activities are required in this tourist destination.
